A remote control or smart phone is supposed to be an extension of the hand in terms of electronic control, so this controller ring is spot on. This ring will allow users to turn their hands into electronic controllers, thus getting rid of the need for an excess of remotes and gadgets.
The device is by RHL Vision Technologies and is called the Fin. The device connects by Bluetooth and right now allows for the user's palms to control devices like Smart TVs and phones. Eventually, they’re looking toward making it a true controller ring that will let the device discern between different finger motions.
For now, the device will allow for 5 pre-programmed hand motions per device connected. The device will come in 5 different colors, all of which will have the same functionality.
