Holi Easter Eggs

Sweet Paul's Colorful Easter Eggs Take Inspiration from a Hindu Festival

Taking inspiration from Holi, the Hindu festival of love, Sweet Paul created these ultra colorful Easter eggs.

For the craft, non-toxic Holi powder is used as a replacement for a colorful liquid dye. As well as being used in the Hindu celebration of color, this is the same powder that's frequently used in color run marathons, so it's fairly easy to come by online. Other than an assortment of brightly hued powders and a set of hard boiled eggs, the only other items that are needed for this DIY Easter project are egg whites or wood glue. Although this Easter craft might be a little messy, it's probably no worse than the traditional kits that come with liquid dyes.

In a true fusion of East and West, these festive eggs bring about a new way to enjoy the colors of Easter.
