The clothes Elisabeth Lecourt makes are really not for wearing because she made them by cutting and folding actual paper maps. She assembles the clothing like in dressmaking. She also does it in such a way that you can see actual countries, like on the United Kingdom shirt, or specific regions. Her collection of some 60 "outfits" make for popular exhibitions around the world.
The artist is French but was trained in, and is currently based in, London.
