Circus-Inspired Cocktails

The Ivy Created Two Cirque du Soleil-Celebrating Cocktails

To celebrate the return of the Cirque du Soleil to Royal Albert Hall, The Ivy Kensington Brasserie created a pair of exclusive circus-inspired cocktails.

The Cirque du Soleil performance goes by the name 'Totem' and explores the human desire to fly. As such, these two new menu items reflect elements of this theme, as well as the acrobatic nature of the Cirque du Soleil. While the Tropical Trapeze boasts a base of Hendricks gin that is built upon with cream de banana, lime juice, hibiscus syrup and peach bitters, the Drum Dance combines the cherry, citrus and mint flavors with rum, cinnamon juice and a few other flavorful additions.

Some of the menu items at The Ivy that are said to pair well with these inventive cocktails include the Bang Bang Chicken or the Roast Hake.
