Aldi's Chocolate Wine is Returning to UK Shelves for Christmas

Back by popular demand, Aldi's Chocolate Wine is set to hit UK store shelves in time for the Christmas demand, Originally released as a special offer in 2017, this fortified wine quickly sold out but is now back by popular demand. The Chocolate Wine even scooped up a silver medal at the International Wine and Spirit Competition and was featured at the drinks business City Wine Show at Stationer's Hal in St Paul.

The Chocolate Wine will hit shelves November 14, 2018, at various Aldi locations. The wine itself is made from a blend of Tempranillo grapes and "premium" chocolate flavoring. According to the makers, the fortified wine boasts notes of "spice, vanilla and fresh cherries," and is said to have "a rich, velvety texture."
