Heavenly Desserts teamed up with Itsu to create sweet chocolate bao buns that offer something other than the usual savory fillings. This new menu item at the UK dessert franchise is a plant-based treat that's served warm with caramel sauce. When ordering these sweet bao buns from Heavenly Desserts' regular and Dessert Tapas menus, customers will get to experience the fluffy treat and the "melt-in-the-middle" chocolate filling.
"After a lot of consumer research and flavor profiling and following on from the popularity of our mochi desserts which we announced in summer last year, we found that bao buns are setting a trend in the dessert sector as itsu has become the go-to brand in the UK market for this recognizable Asian dish," said Ravinder Faguraha, project support manager at Heavenly Desserts.
