Shake Shack recently teamed up with two Los Angeles chefs to create a specialty burger called the Son of a Gun Chick'n Shack. The tantalizing new burger will give those in New York a chance to sample one of Los Angeles' most sought-after dishes.
The new Son of a Gun Chick'n Shack burger is a limited-edition dish crafted by Son of a Gun chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo. The burger is designed to mimic the chefs' highly sought after chicken sandwich, which is slow-cooked in buttermilk, dipped in batter and then coated with a seasoned flour just like the normal Shake Shack recipe. The chicken is then topped with a spicy pickle slaw and rooster aioli for a tangy twist on a classic chicken sandwich.
Only available at Shake Shack's original Madison Square Park location for a single day, the delicious new burger helps bring a taste of Los Angeles to the Big Apple.
