KFC's Vintage-Inspired Designs Revive Packaging from 1966 & 1971

This holiday season, KFC is introducing vintage-inspired chicken buckets that bring back designs that were originally released as iconic 1966 and 1971 US holiday buckets. The revived packaging designs for 2020 have been faithfully recreated, right down to the retired tagline that says: "North America's Hospitality Dish."

The brand's heritage buckets acknowledge the fact that this year's holiday celebrations will look different in many households at the end of this year, yet there's a sense of comfort and nostalgia that can be appreciated from the past. As Andrea Zahumensky, KFC US CMO says, "Even though the holidays may look a little different this year, we hope our holiday buckets help everyone hark back to a simpler time and bring some comfort and joy to your homes and your families throughout the season."
