Chey Chao is an artist and illustrator from Thailand who has taken Star Wars to a whole new level with his medieval manuscript interpretations of the popular Star Wars characters.
Chao surely found his inspiration for his latest work through European christian art that could be commonly seen in the medieval era. Pictured in the pieces are Darth Vader, Jar-Jar Binks, Luke Skywalker, R2D2, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbaca, C3PO, Anakin Skywalker and Yoda. Each scene is reminiscent of a popular scene from the iconic sci-fi film -- with a medieval spin on it, of course.
It is refreshing to see someone taking Star Wars and remixing it into a completely different form.
