Chewing gum artist Anna Sophia Mateeva had a bright idea when she realized the rubbery texture of gum made the perfect material for artwork.
The artist's amazingly detailed portraits depict pop culture icons like Elton John and the late Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Just like her art, the artist's methods are unconventional, Anna Sophia realized that the gum needed to be chewed in order to make it malleable enough to work with, so she enlisted the help of her husband, friends and family to chew on pieces of gum for her.
With results this good, you can't really argue with her methods. She manages to produce stunning pieces of art all made with chewing gum, which is quite the feat!
