Lighting Made From Cash

Brighten Your Home With Kurrency Chandeliers

They may look like upside-down wedding cakes made from cash but, in actuality, they're Kurrency Chandeliers.

Stuart Karten Design (SKD) created these functional cash-made chandeliers using crisp and legally tendered dollars, pesos, and euros. In doing so, SKD's Kurrency Chandeliers can truly compliment homes in a variety of cultures.

I love the layered design of Kurrency Chandeliers because they appeal to my love of both antiquated and modern home decor.

Implications - Stuart Karten says that part of the reason he made this money-light is because "in today's economy, there is perhaps nothing so beautiful as cold hard cash." He definitely speaks the truth because when the economy is rough, cash is very often on people's minds. The artist feels that money is not only beautiful because it can buy things, but the actual bills themselves are full of color and gorgeous artworks.
