Using a simple folding principle that unifies material, space and structure, students from the Institut fuer Konstruktion und Gestaltung of the Leopold Franzens University of Innsbruck, Austria built a 33-foot tower out of cardboard. The cardboard tower was displayed at the exhibition "Carton Plein!" at the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine in Paris.
The cardboard tower was installed at the February 3 - March 28, 2010 Carton Plein! architectural exhibition, (Full Carton!) where it could be viewed from a wrap-around spiral stair.
