Carolina Amoretti Creates Healthy Heads

'TOTEM' is a series of totem-pole faces by Carolina Amoretti created completely out of fruit and vegetables.

These faces are actually quite ominous against a pitch-black background, and would look even scarier if they were stacked atop each other. With demon eyes made of vitamin C-packed oranges and a glowing red apple for a mouth, the Rafiki-esque baboon looks like he contains mystical powers.

All of the statues appear as if they have an evil spirit inside them that is dying to escape. The only way to destroy these terrifying faces is to eat them. The fruity creations of Carolina Amoretti would be the perfect thanksgiving dinner for any vegan family brave enough to eat these terrifying faces.
