Toronto's Paraluman Flora collaborated with Greenport Cannabis (the first black woman-owned cannabis company in Canada) to create a unique Valentine's Day bouquet that pairs cannabis and flowers. The Higher Love Bouquet shares the vibrancy of colorful flowers plus seven grams of cannabis of the consumer's choice. The cannabis flower is extracted from its packaging and rewrapped in food-grade plastic, tulle and pearls to elevate the experience of receiving the bouquet.
Available in limited quantities, the bouquet is made up of roses, carnations and gladiolus, and it is not just being introduced at a time when people are open to trying new holiday traditions due to restrictions on the usual ways of celebrating, but also an era when Valentine's Day is being embraced as more than a romantic occasion for couples.
