Copenhagen-based Architects EFFEKT created the Camp Adventure Park in Naestved Denmark. The observation tower reaches 45 meters off the ground and the designers decided to use a ramp with a slight incline to offer accessibility to everyone from top to bottom. The surrounding area is all preserved forest space, making the view beautiful and long-lasting. The geometry of the tower is a curved cylindrical shape that increases stability and also increases the size and design features of the large deck at the top of the tower.
This new tower was made to give an immersive experience into the forest and by using all natural colored wood to construct it, the designers achieved that. Visitors can walk through a previously made forest trail around lakes, wetlands and creeks to the base of the Camp Adventure Park observation tower.
