For World Sleep Day this year, Nescafe launched a unique cafe in Japan that offers up luxurious beds—some even valued at just under $10,000—as sleeping spaces.
At Nescafe Harajuku, there are 10 electronic reclining beds for guests from France Bed to try, including both double and single sizes. To create a soothing atmosphere for trying out these beds, Nescafe sets the scene with a smartphone-controlled Hue light from Phillips and a headset from Sony that offers further relaxation.
To try out any of the beds at the 'Nescafe × France Bed Sleep Cafe,' visitors only need to order one food item from the cafe's menu. Customers are served a free cup of Nescafe's decaf coffee before their nap and upon waking, are given a regular cup of coffee to leave them feeling extra rejuvenated and ready for the rest of the day ahead.
