Uganda-Based 'Bright Books' Donates Solar Lights to Those in Need

Bright Books is an Uganda-based journal brand dedicated to helping people who lack electricity with solar lights. For each notebook purchased, Bright Books will donate one solar light to school children and kids living in refugee camps.

The notebooks themselves feature a minimal yet elegant aesthetic and boast 128 lined pages with sewn binding for lay-flat pages. In addition, the pages are made from 100 gsm acid-free paper that ensures no bleed-through so users can write on both sides. Moreover, as a memento to the brand's mission, the inside back cover of the journals boast sketched artwork made by children in Uganda with donated lights.

The Bright Books are available in a variety of colorways and sizes and can be purchased online.
