The HRP-4C Unit Walked Down the Aisle on a Runway in Osaka, Japan

The HRP-4C robot made her first appearance on a runway at a fashion show in Osaka, Japan today. The female bridal robot was created by Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology and stands 158 centimeters tall.

The developer, Kazuhito Yokoi, hopes that the robot can someday have a career in fashion and entertainment. He added that seeing his creation walk down the runway in a wedding dress made him feel as if he were "the father of a bride."
