Roadkill Couture is a business that's already pretty controversial on its own, and now, it's expanding to offer more offbeat taxidermied goods, including a bridal accessory collection. Although this sounds like it should be really off-putting and morbid, the collection is actually quite interesting to look at and beautifully presented.
These images depicting the bridal collection were shot by photographer Lucy Davenport, who describes that she wanted to create something "beautiful, yet alternative." The taxidermy accessories are combined with dresses from Luella’s Boudoir, which are pretty enough to offset, but not overpower the roadkill accessories.
Although this collection will definitely not be for everyone, the animals used in Roadkill Couture products have died of natural causes, have been killed for food or hit by a car, as the very name of the business suggests.
