Although bread is often served alongside vegetables, especially leafy greens, Hybread is a brand that's taking the idea of bread with vegetables to a new level with its products.
At Natural Products Expo West 2017, Hybread introduced the world to its whole-grain bakery products, which boast just 65 calories per slice and romaine, spinach and kale baked in. As such, the bread has a slightly green color due to its high vegetable content, but it is said to retain the same taste and texture as ordinary bread.
Hybread's range follows a pattern from several other newly released products, which embed fruits, vegetables or other healthy ingredients into comforting food products to add additional benefits and promote greater health in a way that makes it easy for consumers to get their daily dose of greens.
