The Boycott-Proof Delicatessen Unites the Spanish-Catalan Border

Madrid-based marketing company MRM//McCann created the Boycott-Proof Delicatessen as the first-of-its-kind label that features ingredients from both sides of the Spanish-Catalan border. Inspired by the divisions that political conflict causes between Catalonia and the rest of Spain, the marketing company took it upon itself to create an unconventional way to unite people with food and drinks.

As many local producers are suffering as a result of Catalan products bring boycotted from Spain, and vice versa, the Boycott-Proof Delicatessen includes two different versions of products like olive oil, honey and chocolate that are labeled as either Spanish or Catalan—however, pulling back the stickers on the food and beverages reveals that there's truly no difference between the identical products, hopefully inspiring people to change the way they see the conflict.

Any producers are able to join the label and sell goods on the boycott-free online store.
