Wallpaper* Magazine and property developers EcoWorld Ballymore co-hosted an installation in London that celebrated 19th century botanical explorers. The exhibit was called 'Wardian E14' and was created in a large, open glass house. The setting resembled a green house, filled with trees and plants to reflect the horticultural theme of the exhibit.
Wallpaper's creative department sourced design brands from around the world that carried furniture that fit with the botanical explorer theme. The team curated cabinets full of interesting curiosities including interesting flower pots and urn-like watering cans made from sediments. The space featured over 100 different species of plants, flowers and trees. The uniquely designed exhibit differs from the contemporary interiors we are accustomed to and provides a different perspective by offering lush urban space.
