Bosque Refugios Spends Six Months in Oak Casks to Deepen the Flavor

Bosque Refugios is a new expression from the Argentina-based distiller that's crafted with an unexpected flavor experience in mind to work well discerning gin enthusiasts alike. The spirit is reported to be inspired by the rhythm of nature and spends six months in French oak casks, which is said to help deepen the flavor profile. This takes place in a cabin 1,000-meters above sea level at the foot of the Andes mountain range in Patagonia, which further transforms the finished product thanks to the lower temperatures and reduce oxygen levels.

The Bosque Refugios gin is reported to have notes of vanilla, nuts and honey, and will make its way to the US soon with current availability of the brand's other expressions offered in more than 20 countries.
