Cloud Simulating Pavilions

The Blur Building by Diller Scofido + Renfro Mystifies on the Water

Nestled in a small city an hour outside of Geneva, Switzerland, the Blur Building by Diller Scofido + Renfro in Neuchatel exudes copious amounts of artificial clouds. The pavilion lays on Lake Neuchatel, one of the most popular canton's in the country.

This forward-thinking city has produced one of the most intricate building Diller Scofido + Renfro have designed. The pavilion has two main walk way tunnels over the blue ripples of Lake Neuchatel. The mystifying building spreads its artificial clouds over the walk ways and surrounds the building in its entirety. With the creation of the Blur Building, the Diller Scofido + Renfro group has drawn a group of tourists to check out the site.

It is a shame there aren't more of these pavilions because the cloud affect would be a great way to blame getting lost on the way to work.
