Yacht designs have become fairly conventional but Russian businessman Vasily Klyukin is one person who isn't afraid to push the limits of convention, especially with his concept for the blue boat he calls 'Blue Bird.'
Although the name of the boat sounds deceptively nice, like it would take you on a slow ride across the water, the boat is made to be like the translation of what a powerful sports car might look like on water. Although the boat is less obviously bird-like than the White Swan, another new concept by Klyukin, this one is sleek, sharp and angular, like it is a graceful and light origami bird that can master both air and water.
The Blue Bird is just one of six concept yacht designs from Klyukin that will be unveiled later this year at the Monaco Yacht Show 2014 in September.
