Venmo recently launched its second national brand campaign "_________ Me" (or "Blank Me"), which celebrates the free digital wallet payment platform as a household name.
The campaign spotlights the brand's unique place in culture today, as well as Venmo's mission to remove the awkwardness of coordinating P2P payments with friends and others. The fun new campaign includes messages like "Rent is due. Let’s __________ the landlord," and "Let’s not make it awkward. Just __________ me." All of these blanks are meant to be filled in with one word—Venmo.
As part of the campaign, Venmo will be sharing its campaign across social media, as well as via outdoor ads in college towns, making its presence known at places where it believes "people most need to be '______ed.'"
