Outdoor bathrooms get a complete makeover with the bike trail restroom by Miro Rivera Architects. This restroom is located in the Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail that is on the edge of the Colorado River in downtown Austin.
This restroom has a unique rustic design and its exterior consists of 49 thick vertical Corten steel plates that vary in length. This unique building is not hard to maintain because the majority of the materials are heavy-duty stainless steel and is inspired by the surrounding natural environment, and it will stand as a dynamic sculpture in the popular park.
The Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail is always filled with residents, visitors, runners and cyclists that want a break from their busy urban lifestyles.
