After making headlines last year for adding a peanut butter cup to the center of one of its burgers, the Works Gourmet Burger Bistro is upping the ante with its ultra-spicy Big Popper burger. Like the Reese PBC before it, this new burger features an extra special ingredient embedded in the middle of the hamburger patty.
The new Big Popper stuffed burger from The Works consists of an eight-ounce beef patty stuffed with jalapeno peppers, battered and then fried until it is golden brown. The patty is then topped with cream cheese, green onions, peppers, smoked bacon, crispy onions and a dollop of sour cream. The monstrous creation joins the chain's other stuffed burger options, which include the Reese PBC, The Burgeroni and the Loaded Lucy.
