Collaboration-Focused Bank Layout Designs

UNStudio Aims to Break the Traditional Bank Environment

The traditional bank layout is being challenged by Dutch architecture firm UNStudio. Seeking to produce a more non-threatening environment for financial institutions, the practice is currently in the construction stages of its TBC Forum -- a financial center in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The designed of the banking headquarters is informed through extensive research into the dynamics of the industry and other workplace studies. Liberating the institution from its "traditional closed and introverted working model," UNStudio is attempting to facilitate collaborative environments through strategical, open-concept, and responsive bank layouts.

The TBC Forum will boast a cluster of buildings, with the tallest one being the bank's headquarters. Other volumes include an Innovation Lab for research, as well as a Culture Hub for public engagement.
