Meliartos' black and white bakery packaging is loaded with patterns and symbolism, including a hexagonal logo for the bakery in Athens that brings to mind honey, with characters arranged to suggest the Greek word for "art." With a combination like this, this alone conveys that Meliartos' baked goods are delicious in both look and taste.
The identity and packaging for the bakery was designed by Kanella, taking inspiration from decorative tiles found in Neoclassical homes. As well as being a timeless and classic scheme, with an absolute lack in color from the product packaging, this makes the fresh colors of the tasty salads, juices, sandwiches and other baked goods seem even more vibrant and enticing.
