Bahrain World Trade Center
Integrated Wind Turbines
Skyscrapers are major constructions and they have a huge energy demand. In Bahrain twin skyscraper complex is being build, called the Bahrain World Trade Center. They have succesfully integraded three massive wind turbines blades measuring 29 meters in diameter each, on bridges between the twin towers. Through its positioning and the unique aerodynamic design of the towers, the prevailing on-shore Gulf breeze is funneled into the path of the turbines, helping to create power generation efficiency.
