This series of photos by Elisabeth Hoff totally reminds me of the Jill Greenberg exhibit from 2006--except the babies are Beyonce-in-training glamazons! I particularly love the crying baby... obviously her pearls weren't big enough.
Since her 20s, Elisabeth Hoff has photographed editorials for Glamour, Marie Claire, InStyle, Men's Fitness, Sky Magazine, Spanish Vogue and Japanese Vogue. Her works span fashion, beauty, portraiture and music.
Implications - People enjoy recapturing the playful and innocent nature of their youth through whatever means possible, and products and artworks that enable this level of nostalgia are popular among buyers. Toddler fashions, photography and even furniture that appeals to the child within the adult are all examples of child-like products that do remarkably well on a consumer scale by factoring in nostalgia as a primary motivator for consumption.
