To introduce its autumn furniture collection in a unique way, Vitra styled four interior environments with different imaginary characters in mind. In Box 1, designer F Taylor Colantonio set a scene for Signore X, an eccentric art historian from Rome. The interior scene includes a mix of materials like tile floors, marble and rich draperies, as well as the attention-grabbing Mariposa Corner Sofa.
Box 2 envisions what a dining space would look like for a collector and patron of the arts with a special love of Japanese aesthetics. The fourth box in the series offers a completely different vision for a family that lives "a slower-paced lifestyle without the extras," focusing on pieces that are functional, minimal and timeless.
