Vitra introduces two sustainable furniture designs at its Vitra Summit recently, spotlighting the futuristic pieces that define art and design perfectly. The two chairs were showcased during the virtual conference and feature the EVO-C chair designed by Jasper Morrison and the new iteration of the Tip Ton chair made in collaboration with Barber & Osgerby back in 2011.
The EVO-C chair has a cantilevered construction and is made using gas injection moulding technology. This way, it provides comfort, support, and flexibility in the structural design. It is also meant to last for decades to add longevity to the design. The Tip Top RE chair is made in gray with flecks of subtle contrast throughout and complete with a bit of glass fiber.
