Artfully Bizarre Pop Videos

Lady Gaga's ARTPOP Film is Minimal but Full of Strange Fashion

On November 20th, Lady Gaga tweeted a link to an unlisted YouTube video for her ARTPOP film, which features a record number of wigs and outrageous clothing choices, even for Gaga.

The film directed by Inez & Vinoodh begins with a voiceover from Gaga describing how her latest album is "a celebration" and how she channeled her pain through its electronic music. Snippets from the ARTPOP single go on to play as Gaga is shown in unusual fashions by Mathieu Mirano, Comme des Garçons and Louise Leconte, just to name a few.

Of course Gaga received tons of questions about the two-and-a-half minute long ARTPOP film on Twitter and later responded with a tweet explaining that it was "a creative pop trip" and the result of 12 hours of nonstop performing.
