This new fragrance was created in support of Artists for Peace and Justice, an organization that works to foster education, healthcare and the arts in Haiti.
The Haiti-supporting perfume was developed as a collaboration between Natasha Koifman, president of Toronto-based PR firm NKPR, and bespoke perfume bar Aromachology. Raising awareness of Artists for Peace and Justice is Koifman's pro bono project, and this is her latest initiative.
The fragrance is called TwentySix, after the 26 distinct ingredients it contains. The main ingredient in the perfume's composition is Haitian vetiver, an aromatic grass that grows on the coast of the island and is one of its main exports. It will be sold in a limited edition quantity of 1,000 bottles.
