The striated limestone outcroppings seen around the Great Lakes area were the inspiration for the new Aqua Tower that will soon grace the historic and iconic Chicago skyline. The 250 meter tall Aqua Tower was conceived by Studio Gang.
The facade of the Aqua Tower will appear to be undulating and rippling like the water it will look out onto. Not only will it add to the visual appeal of the building but will also extend views and maximize solar shading.
When it is completed the Aqua Tower will be an 82-story mixed-use and residential tower.
