In collaboration with Japan's Yokkaichi Himono Shokudo restaurant, Aoki’s Pizza is now serving a 'Swim!! Mackerel Pizza' that boasts an unusual shape.
As the Yokkaichi Himono Shokudo restaurant is known for its high-quality mackerel, the pizza spotlights the dried fish as a star ingredient. Alongside fish, the unconventional pizza is also topped with a variety of vegetables, mozzarella cheese and a barbecue-mustard sauce. This fish-themed pizza is being offered for a limited time throughout the spring and summer of this year. Since there is no clear way to eat the pizza like a normal slice, Aoki’s Pizza suggests that the unique dish can be cut into from anywhere.
Aoki’s Pizza is known for its outlandish pizza creations, including pizzas with crusts shaped with built-in cups for dipping sauces, pizzas topped with ramen noodles and zombie-inspired Halloween-themed pizzas topped with ingredients that resemble gruesome body parts.
