Anti-Jet Lag Sleep Suites

The Future Hotel Showcase Room

This space-age hotel room was conceived by architectural firm LAVA. The room features anti-jet lag lighting, a personal spa, a media display window, and an "active comfort bed." It sounds exquisite and looks even better.

The project was to design a hotel room of the future by integrating up-and-coming technology. The architects describe the room as "a demonstration project that investigates the interfaces between architecture, technology and the human body."

The hotel room concept was a partnership between LAVA and Fraunhofer IAO in Germany. The architects were also part of the design team responsible for the Water Cube in Beijing, China and the Michael Schumacher World Champion Tower in Abu Dhabi.
