The 'Kame House' by Japanese-based Kochi Architect’s Studio is a geometric house featuring an angular interior that skillfully plays with the open floor concept.
Located in Niigata, Japan this modern home appears as a square box house on the outside, but once entered, suddenly transforms into a hexagonal void containing 12 different rooms. Skillfully making use of geometry, a series of small and angular openings make this geometric house a unique take of the open floor plan. Each room can be viewed from the other and a lack of any doors makes this house a place where privacy is certainly not the norm.
Made up of only 135 square meters, the angular interior of the Kame House makes the most of its interior space its unique layout and dashing geometric design.
