Angelina Jolie, the mother of celebrity adoptions, was spoofed alongside Madonna in a Saturday Night Live skit last weekend by Kristen Wiig and Amy Elliott.
The SNL skit pokes fun at the highly publicized adoptions both stars are engaged in.
Apparently the latest news is that Madonna’s attempt to adopt 4-year-old Mercy James from Malawi was deferred, not surprising after the controversy regarding her adoption of David Banda, also from Malawi, two years ago.
Angelina Jolie, perhaps the most publicized celebrity adopter, is rumored to be adopting a child from India, adding to her other three adopted children from Cambodia, Vietnam and Ethiopia.
