On May 16th, the music page on Amazon Music UK was transported back in time, transformed into a newspaper page from 1994. This transformation was in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Oasis' 'Definitely Maybe' album.
The trip back in time features a column on the right that shows the album charts on that day way back when, including "future releases" from bands like the Manic Street Preachers, The Beastie Boys and Pulp. As well as the newspaper style front page, Amazon offered up three Oasis videos for play in the Amazon Artist Lounge, which were also made available as free downloads.
In case you couldn't handle all of the 90s nostalgia, there was also a button on the Amazon Music page that would transport you back to the way the Amazon Music page normally looks in 2014.
