As popular as almond milk has become on the market, many consumers have come to find that their favorite brands produce these nut-based milks using a lot of flavoring and stabilizing agents and very few actual almonds. New Barn's Almondmilk is out to challenge this by producing its beverage with just four to six simple ingredients.
The dairy-free beverage comes in Unsweetened, Original and Vanilla flavors, which are made with a base of pure ingredients like spring water, organic almonds, organic acacia gum and sea salt. On top of this, New Barn adds sweetness in certain products with organic maple syrup and organic vanilla extract.
Unlike many other brands that produce almond milk, New Barn only uses a single stabilizer, acacia gum, which comes from the sap of the acacia tree.
