This Bonsai Art Series Imagines Alien-Like Species and Planters

This organic bonsai art is uniquely beautiful, and contrary to its realistic look, it does not depict real plants. Invented by the art and design studio Chaotic Atmospheres, these alien tree species are a whimsical interpretation of alien life.

The 'Alien Bonsaïs' are in fact 3D digital artworks and are very clearly inspired by how humans interpret what extraterrestrial plant life may look like. Each one is unique, ranging from bright pink Dr. Seuss-like creations, to the appearance of a forest experiencing autumn weather, to what appears to be miniature willow trees. Especially interesting are the darker pieces of art that are curved upwards and reveal what looks like small berries inside the plant.

One can only hope that the designs will be available to purchase in a tangible form at some point.
