This summer and early fall, phone brand Alcatel will be initiating a unique taxi tour across the UK.
The 'IDOL 4 BOOM Taxi,' which is named after Alcatel's newest handset is set to stop at popular consumer destinations and give members of the public the chance to step inside and immerse themselves in a virtual reality experience. Once inside the taxi, people will be outfitted to escape to some of the world's most well-known landmarks using IDOL 4 technology, 360 sound and visuals.
As part of the VR taxi tour, people of the UK are being encouraged to take a selfie inside the IDOL 4 BOOM Taxi and share it to social media with the #BoomMeUp tag for the chance to win an Alcatel IDOL 4 handset of their own.
