Famous Athletes Replicate Iconic Album Design Photo Shoots

ESPN has taken several super famous athletes and got them to replicate their favorite album design covers in an editorial photographed by Mattias Clamer.

14 athletes, including NFL players, Olympic gold medalists and NASCAR drivers, were put into costume with the same background settings and props used in the original iconic album covers. The photo shoot includes behind the scenes footage of the athletes as they goof around with the makeup and wardrobe team, demonstrating the playful side of music and sports. Along with the editorial, they were also asked to come up with playlists for their new albums which can be found on the ESPN website.
