Aitor Throup Debuted His Fashion Collection on Faceless Life-Size Puppets

London-based fashion designer Aitor Throup decided to show off his latest pieces by opting for eerie life-size puppets rather than conventional models.

Titled the 'New Object Research,' Aitor Throup had a team of people clad in all white march the faceless puppets down the runway, with each person holding sticks connected to it to simulate haunting natural movements. Its reported that the collection comes from a reinvention of Aitor Throup's 2013 pieces -- which he used the models of to build and improve upon.

The collection was shown at the Holy Trinity Church, where Aitor Throup also featured an installation dubbed 'The Resting of the Past.' The installation consists of puppets piled up on one another in a lifeless slump -- working to show the death of his earlier designs.
