Abseiling Pilots

Air New Zealand Staff Paints Billboard

Air New Zealand has utilized a novel advertising approach: Involve your staff in the action. They haven't just placed their best-looking flight attendants in front of a camera--in this video, you'll see Captain Peter Clulow, a pilot who has flown Air New Zealand planes for 35 years, abseiling down a 65-foot high billboard after painting it for a new ad campaign.

Air New Zealand is accustomed to their ad campaigns turning heads; their September Cranial Billboards campaign involved henna tattoos inked on the backs of cleanly-shaven domes.
