Their mission is to create environmentally- and socially-conscious clothing suitable for the western market, but created using materials made in South Africa and made by artisans in the region. In addition to being ethically made, the clothing also has an environmental component, as certain details on the apparel, such as ribbing, are made from upcycled garments.
On top of creating employment opportunities in Malawi and Zambia, AfriCAN also reinvests 100% of its profits into those countries.
