$400,000 Champagne Glasses

Diamond Stemware by John Calleija Breaks World Record

The title of the world's most expensive champagne glass goes to the $400,000 Diamond & Crystal Champagne Glass by designer John Calleija. Along with John, it took a team of five jewelers to develop two glasses made of 8kg blocks of crystal, encrusted with 15 carats of white diamonds, and six carats of rare, argyle pink diamonds.

The glasses were purchased by a Melbourne businessman who is planning to turn them into cherished family heirlooms. Nice! My family heirloom is a jar of tomato paste made by Italian nuns :D YUMM!
